Carly Jordan

Carly is an actor, singer, bass guitarist, polyglot, candy lover, and woman about town.
Raised in Raleigh, NC, her love of expression and performing began when she was very little -- making up stories, singing along to her dad's rock and country albums around the house, and beginning her dance training at the age of three.
Alongside her regular education, Carly studied at the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory before attending the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University, graduating early in three years with a BA in Theatre Arts.
Carly is based in New York City, where she can typically be found taking long walks around Manhattan, her favorite record store in the East Village, a boxing studio, hammering around on guitar and bass, or in any cozy spot writing poetry that want to be song lyrics when they grow up.

Carly is also the creator and co-host of the '77 Music Club podcast, available for subscription on iTunes and streaming on SoundCloud. In each episode, Carly and co-host Carrie Courogen choose one album to discuss: how it was made, what makes it significant, and why it is still relevant and worth listening to today. Through their perspectives as two millennials, they share their unconventional love of older music, try to bridge a generation gap, and carry the torch for the music, stories, and voices that came before them.
